How to fold and store a travel bag

Folding and packing a travel bag can help save space, especially when traveling or not in use.

Empty the bag: First, remove the bag's contents and make sure it is completely empty.

Fold the bag, and for soft travel bags, straighten the bag to make sure there are no extra items inside.

Fold the side and bottom edges inward to make the bag smaller.

Try to make the bag into a flat rectangular or oblong shape for easier packing and storage.

Organize the straps and handles: If the travel bag has straps or handles, make sure they are organized to avoid disrupting the structure of the folded bag.

Use compression bags or storage bags: If you need to save space further, you can put the folded travel bag in a compression bag or other storage bag to compress the air and make it more compact.

Adjust according to the type of bag: For hardshell travel cases, you can usually open the zipper or locking system, unfold the case, and remove the internal storage bags or dividers to flatten it for easier storage.

Keep it tidy: When folding and storing, try to keep the bag tidy to avoid hard parts rubbing against each other or getting damaged.
